We’re excited you’re here! We truly are. But before we go too far down a path of “What-if-we…?”, we need to make sure you and your business are really AI-ready – and, honestly, also ready to partner with us here at Trybl.
You’ve heard the hype and the critiques. AI is often positioned as either the creator of nirvana or the bringer of an apocalypse. The truth, we believe, lies somewhere in the middle. In our view, AI is fueling the next revolution in the world of work. And just like every revolution before it, embracing AI in your business will demand new ways, new processes, and new comfort levels. Any of us old enough to remember work life pre-internet knows what transition looks like.
So, while we’d like nothing more than to jump in and start scoping out a kick-ass tool or brainstorming on a bespoke training session for your team, there are a few key questions to ask yourself before diving in. Because AI isn’t just a tool, it’s a commitment.
Are you ready to find out if you’re AI-ready or, more importantly, ready for Trybl? Let’s do it.
Question 1.
Are you ready to share your data? With us? With the large language models (LLMs) like ChatGPT, Claude and Co-Pilot?
- Heck yes, let’s do this.
- Share my data? Are you crazy? Nope. NEXT question.
Question 2.
Are you ready to give us administrative access to your tech stack, including potentially the software you rely on most to run your business?
- Sure, let me ask our IT group to get you access.
- Why in the world would you even need admin access? I don’t think we’ll be able to do that.
Question 3.
Are you looking for a “set it and forget it” AI solution?
- No! I’m looking for more of an AI sidekick. I still want to be part of this narrative!
- Yes. Give me something that will take this 40+ hour week down to 40 minutes.
Question 4.
Are you willing to invest in a paid discovery phase?
- Of course. To build something special with us you have to understand what makes us, us.
- Nope. That’s your cost of doing biz with me.
Question 5.
Are you okay with your project focusing on the “One Thing” and an MVP (minimal viable product) approach to building solutions?
- Absolutely! This feels very complex to me. I want to take small bites of the AI elephant.
- No way! I want to reinvent everything in my biz, all at once!
Results:
If you answered mainly A, you’re definitely AI ready and ready for Trybl. Stop scrolling and get in touch. We’re jazzed to talk to you!
If you answered mainly B, we hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you’re not ready yet, friend. And we’ll need you to keep reading to understand why.
Not ready to hand over data: AI thrives on data. If you’re hesitant to provide data, with proper security and privacy protocols in place, of course, then AI tools won’t have the fuel they need to tackle the mundane, make decisions, or automate tasks effectively.
Reluctance to give administrative access: AI systems often require integrations or APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) to allow software applications to communicate with each other. AI solutions and the LLMs we build all need these bridges to access the data housed in your tech stack. Without administrative access, AI solutions architects (aka, the brains here at Trybl) can’t fully configure or customize a tool to your needs, limiting its potential and power.
“Set it and forget it” mindset: AI – at least for us here at Trybl – isn’t a one-and-done solution. It requires ongoing human input for training, review, and adjusting to changing needs. Honestly, its output is only as good as the input you feed it. If you expect it to run perfectly without human oversight, you’re not ready for our version of AI.
AI is a powerful tool, but it does not substitute for human involvement—it’s a partnership.
Paid discovery: Speaking of partnership, our discovery process is the basis for our relationship, one that we pledge will be built on honesty and transparency. If we discover a pre-built tool out there that takes care of what you need, we’ll celebrate with you on the cost savings! And if we dig in and see that AI isn’t the right tool or some other roadblock is too stubborn to move, we’ll let you know that, too. All of that takes time and a heavy lift for our team’s brains, which should be compensated.
One Thing: All our AI conversations inevitably lead to lots of, “Ohh, you know what would be great?” and “Along with doing that, we should do this too!” Blue sky brainstorming and the energy people soon feel as they talk about using AI in their business gives us life some days. But then we need to come back to reality. Our version of reality is that AI solutions have the most power for the businesses we like to work with when they are focused on the “One Thing” that will make your life easier. Let’s build that. Then we can expand it or build the “Second Thing” and the “Third Thing.”
After reading all this, ready to go back and answer again to see if, with a bit more understanding, you are now AI-ready? Please do! Or better yet, get in touch and let’s talk. If we get to an “Oh, what if we did this One Thing?” conversation, you’re likely ready for AI and for Trybl.
